When will this practise of Branding humans stop? Can governments stop such child abuse act of circision.?

I was told that it was my birthday and so the ceremony was organised. I was very happy and believed that i will have a great day. Suddenly i was seized by four men and within no time the terror of circision was on me. The happiest day for me as a child ( birthday) turned into a nightmare, parents and relatives had upheld their right to tradition and had a great day. Further the humiliation of sitting on the bed with legs spread while relatives paraded to see my condition was far more worse. Mother was beaten up by my father for she would not eat that day. Its a sad thing that even though Sati and child marriage have been abolished this evil and barbaric practice of circision still is not acknowledged as Child Abuse. This practice is nothing but ethnic branding as is done with farm animals and was introduced by Abraham when he made a covenant with God ( it is not mentioned any where if he had any form of prostate disease and to rid of it he made this n bull story ).
