Can you iidentify enzymes using iodine?

Enzymes are protein in nature. Thus the biuret test is needed to test for enzymes. However, you can indirectly test for enzymes like amylase by testing for starch in a solution containing starch and amylase. If amylase is present, the iodine solution will remain yellow-brown.
