What are some good ways to get my daughter off the pacifier?

hellow everyone i have a one in a half year old child child and oh my god it so hard to get her off the pacifer everywere we go she wants it when she sleeps she wants it all day everyday she wants this thing if she dosent get it when she wants it she throws a huge fit if theres someone out there there that can relate to my situation please give me some advice on how you got your child off thanks
