Question about the brain. pls answer?

Is the brain symmetrical? I have a dent on my skull since birth. Its a forcep injury i got during delivery. On my CT scan in the left hemisphere the brain area is smaller where I have my dent. Its the top left parietal lobe. Can it be tht my brain didn't get enough space to grow? Since my right hemisphere grew to its full potential wouldn't the left hemisphere try to too? Please reply, this dent is ruining my life.
